basically you can tell a lot by the old cams condition and that's real important to the lifters health etc.… you will need the three bolt cam gear and bolt set, and I see you said bolts so you must have thought of pulling the heads.….Just some thoughts in your area there are lots of good shops in other local states even if needed ….I recommend professional installation as your going to need a tune, and there are special tools and knowledge required besides a wrongful online thread someone did who posted a DIY who could not do their own lash/preload right or measure pushrods right etc.….

And since if not dropping the cradle someone is "sneaking" the new pump on with its pick up to make sure the o ring to the pump is right and not messed up on install getting the pick up on to the right height.essential.Īnd with what ever mileage you have most likely a set of ls3/7 lifters and new lifter trays and head gaskets and TTY bolts if you have to pull the heads to do the baskets if your miles are higher than say 20-30 k. Your going to go through the usual gaskets needed and fluid to do a oil dump or two, and have to get if the pans dropped a high volume oil pump to help and it can make getting the ls7 style dog bone dampener on instead of the ls3 which falls apart over time. I would also say Driven racing br30 break in oil I use it, and do a break in on even just a cam swap even with the 8620 core I am old school.

When that is avalible you guys will the first to know and we will all be in business when it comes to the super aggressive stuff so definatly be on the look out of that. You should think of the usual things LS2 dogbone dampener, trunnion upgrade to bushings, If dropping the cradle a good thing is the Monster billet bearing support you might not even know about as yours is plastic and can melt the stock.bearing support on the slave. last i heard he was looking around april to start production. I am currently testing a converter for a company and so far so good on that. that being said, there is currently not a aftermarket converter out right now for the new 8 speed trans. We also can custom cut a cam shaft to meet your specific build

This is for the more serious racer and will be a full tilt boogie cam shaft. Fly cutting the top of the pistons IS NOT REQUIRED on the ss4 this time on unmilled heads. IT will require a 3800 and up stall converter. I will personally be running this cam shaft in my car this year. This cam shaft has set many many recoreds on the LS side of the spectram. SS4LT- This is the baddest cam shaft we offer.

This is one means ass street strip cam shaft! Will be a great compliment to our GPI cylinder heads. I would suggest a 3600 at up on a stall converter. This was the most popular cam when it comes to our LS cam cams and i expect the same out of this one. With this cam you WILL need a aftermarket converter. SS3LT- The SS3LT is for the street strip guy that is chasing a number at the track. I has a nice sharp chopping sound to it and is a great choice for the guy that doesnt want to invest in a converter right now but he can always add on later down the road. This cam is great for the guy that hits the track once a month or so. It will have a alittle push on the stock converter.

SS2LT- The SS2LT cam packs more of a punch then the ss1 but still has some decent street manners on the stock converter. We did a bolt on car with the ss1 heads, car put down 500 to the tires.

It hits hard for a smaller cam shaft but also makes great power.

SS1LT- The SS1LT was designed with the daily driver in mind.

So here is a break down of our SS1LT-SS4LT cam shafts. I have been getting alot of intrerest in our GPI line of VVT cams and GPI cylinder heads.
